a haven for wine and nature lovers. With 22 hectares facing south and benefiting from a moderate sea breeze, the estate combines tradition and innovation in wine production. The vineyard, which occupies 10 hectares of the estate, gave rise to the Esquerdino brand, launched in 2017 and quickly recognised with several national and international awards.

Commitment to sustainability is one of the pillars of this project, reflected in the construction of its Bioclimatic Winery, designed to minimise environmental impacts and optimise energy resources. This effort was recognised in 2022 with an Honourable Mention in the Algarve Architecture Competition, promoted by the Portuguese Order of Architects.

Whether it's getting to know its award-winning wines, exploring the unique landscape of the Algarve barrocal or discovering the winemaking processes first-hand, Quinta do Canhoto offers authentic experiences that celebrate the essence of the region.

THE EXPERIENCE

Guided tour of Quinta do Canhoto, with an explanation of the grape varieties, viticulture and native trees. This is followed by a visit to the winery with an explanation of how Esquerdino wines are made. The experience continues with a commented tasting of 3 wines accompanied by a small cheese, sausage and toast board.

Cancellation rules: There is no cancellation charge for wine tastings for groups of up to 10 people.

For groups of more than 10 people, we ask for 50% payment in advance, which will be refunded if the cancellation is communicated at least 48 hours in advance. The remaining amount must be paid by the day of the activity.

For groups of over 40 people, payment can be made in stages.
