Overview
A jeep ride on a journey through the past and present, which will show you the history of carved wine, as well as its presence in this region for two thousand years.
In Vila de Frades, you can visit the ancient Roman villae of São Cucufate, where you can clearly see the remains of a farmhouse that once exploited these soils to produce food and also its wine. Since that time, around two thousand years ago, wine has never ceased to be produced following the same process and techniques inherited by this civilisation. Venture on this journey between the past and the present, tasting the marvellous Alentejo gastronomy and sampling authentic Talha wines.
